  • Real Life Wedding: Melville Castle

Melville Castle has always had a special place in our hearts as it’s one of the first castles we ever photographed a wedding at. Combine that with one of the most incredible couples and you have the stuff of unstoppable wedding magic. Megan and Jonathan’s story is one of long-lasting friendship followed by falling in love. As they’ve grown up together they are a pair steeped in love and support for each other and that is so evident to anyone who knows them.

  • Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

Drumtochty Castle weddings in autumn are simply magical. Andrea and Mike planned theirs to perfection – with the sage greens and golds and oranges of the flowers creating a warmth within the castle as well as outwith.
Getting to know these two as been a lot of fun. They make a top team and have a similar wonderful sense of humour. Highlights from their day include Andrea’s walk down the aisle, the emotional readings,  the quaich ceremony (led by Uncle John), the speeches (Andrea’s killer line announcing “Mike I have made you a better person” had the room in stitches). And of course the most brilliant first dance.

  • Real Life Wedding: Mansfield Traquair

Laura and Calum’s wedding was always going to be a day filled with smiles a-plenty and the kind of party atmosphere that fills Mansfield to its rooftops. It was such a privilege to photograph this wedding as it feels like we’ve known Laura forever and meeting Calum and little Rae has been a delight.

Words these two would use to sum up their wedding are sentimental, sincere and silly… it was a day jam-packed with friends, family, fun and a wee dram or two of  Fluffylump.

  • Real Life Wedding: Royal College of Physicians

The Royal College of Physicians is a little piece of wedding magic right in the heart of Edinburgh City Centre.  For Isla and Patrick it was nothing short of perfect.

It’s a known fact that they are besotted with each other. In the best kind of way which means they look out for each other and take the time to check-in (even on the wedding morning) But also they include all of their family and friends which makes everyone love them more  Their vows were the most beautiful vows we have ever heard, but then they are both exceptionally gifted with words so we should have expected nothing less.

  • Real Life Wedding: Seamill Hydro

The Seamill Hydro is one of those wedding venues where you feel like you’ve escaped for the weekend. For Kirsty and Ross their wedding was all about ’emotional hilarity’ which is a phrase we understand completely. These two chose marriage because they love each other to bits and they wanted to share that with their family and friends (who they are super close to). But also life is too short not to have an absolute blast whenever you get the opportunity so why let your wedding day be anything less that 100% fun?

  • Real Life Wedding: Drumsheugh Gardens and Noto, Edinburgh

Cori and Ian’s wedding was  magical. From their ceremony (a private garden in the heart of Edinburgh’s new town)  to their party (dinner at their favourite restaurant with their closest family and friends) it was a dream. Add to that a moment set aside for their firstlook and quality time spent in the gardens sipping champagne, hanging out with their favourites and even walking with their daughter little P and first born four legged Finn.

  • Real Life Wedding: Mansfield Traquair

Ali & James’ Mansfield Traquair wedding was a long time coming but oh boy was it worth the wait. This was the kind of wedding day no one wanted to end. Love soaked and fun infused it was a wedding that was as much about the guests as it was about the bride and groom. Because these two are so grateful for all the people in their life – and the fact that so many of them flew across the world to celebrate with them speaks volumes of how loved they are.

  • Real Life Wedding: Dundas Castle

Dundas Castle summer weddings are always more than a little magical. Georgia and Will’s was that and then some… Planet Flowers floristry art brought all the summer vibes and it was the kind of day when it felt rude not to be  sipping champagne. Georgia and Will glided through their day with effortless ease and didn’t stop smiling. The thing about these two is that they are just so natural together. The way they lock hands or rest their heads together says everything.
